Archer House

Welcome to our house

Abbeyfield ‘Archer House’ was purpose built and opened by the Princess Royal in 1986. It has 10 rooms and is situated very close to Billericay High Street, close to the main shopping area with all its amenities, giving residents easy access to shop, meet friends and family and generally get out and about.

We pride ourselves on creating an environment that attracts people who appreciate the sense of community that we provide, and at a cost that represents extraordinary value for money.

Communal laundry facilities are provided.

Archer House is managed by Abbeyfield Billericay Society.

We want you to feel at home, so all rooms are tastefully decorated, and as most of our rooms are unfurnished, you can bring your own furniture and most treasured possessions. Residents enjoy independence and privacy combined with support, companionship and home cooked meals. Each room has its own lock and key and is furnished by the residents personally.

We welcome people aged 55+ who feel that they no longer wish to live alone, providing assisted living for the fit and able elderly residents to help combat loneliness and isolation by offering a community environment.
